As President of Air Rescue Systems (ARS), Bob Cockell leads daily operations, oversees equipment R&D, and serves as the lead instructor for advanced helicopter operations courses. With over 20 years of experience in helicopter response and training, Bob's expertise began in Oregon's mountains, providing rescue services for various law enforcement, SAR, and Fire jurisdictions. His experience with a California/Oregon law enforcement special operations team led to the development of new response techniques and mission-specific equipment, culminating in the establishment of ARS in 2005. Bob now shares his knowledge worldwide, training agencies in advanced helicopter operations, while residing in Montana with his supportive wife, Robyn.
