The patented Quick Rope Assisted Deployment system or QRAD model Q817 is an aft mounted dual deployment rope insertion, extraction, and release system designed by Air Rescue Systems for the MI-8 and MI-17 aircraft platforms. The QRAD ships in custom built heavy-duty deployment cases and is both quick and easy to install with minimal crew. Allows for clamshell style doors to close and lock with the system installed. Designed to expand supportable mission parameters by safely increasing aircraft operational capabilities via helicopter rope systems, the QRAD has more than hit the mark.
